B-Tec Level 2 Physical Restraint Awards /Physical Interventions
In any
industry where colleagues have to deal with people, there is an inherent risk to
the staff. In any working environment, employers and employees also have a duty
of care to their patrons.
In order to reduce the risk to any and all persons in these situations, the
staff should be given the skills required to handle potentially dangerous
confrontations. These situations must be dealt with in a professional manner, with maximum thought given to health
and safety.
The Courses we offer have all been carefully constructed to provide skills that
work in practise but also comply with all relevant legislation, including
manual handling.
Whilst there are a great many courses available, that appear to be able to provide
candidates with the skills required for Control and Restraint / Physical
interventions, very few can provide recognised qualifications.
SSP Training and Consultation are proud to be able to present courses that will
offer the candidates a B-TEC level 2 qualification upon completion.
There are NO EXAMINATIONS for these qualifications, as they are assessed
progressively and via a work journal.

The training can be delivered to individuals who wish to join one of the many courses we arrange for the public, or can be booked internally by organisations.
